Kita-Osaka Kyuko Line Extension2
Finally, on March 23, the Kita-Osaka Kyuko Line will be extended by two stations from Senri-Chuo Station to Minoh City. In the Semba area where Nanophoton is located, “Minoh-semba Handai-mae Station” will also open. The previous article on the opening of the pedestrian deck for the Kita-Osaka Kyuko Line extension was surprisingly accessed and well received, so we will cover the Kita-Osaka Kyuko Line extension in this issue as well. (Newsletter editor: Ryo Harada)
Finally, it opens next month!
From Umeda Station to “Minoh-Semba handai-mae Station” in 23 minutes, and from Shin-Osaka Station in 17 minutes.
The timetable for the opening of the extension line was also announced last week. Access to Minoh-Semba handai-mae Station, the closest station to Nanophoton, will be 23 minutes from Umeda Station, 17 minutes from Shin-Osaka Station, and 32 minutes from Namba Station, which is very convenient.
*The following are access times from Minoh-kayano Station.
【First train】
The first train is as shown in the table below.
The first train to Nakamozu direction departs from Senri-Chuo Station only. The next and subsequent trains will depart from Minoh-kayano Station.
【Last train】
The last train is shown in the table below.
The fare from Umeda Station to “Minoh-Semba handai-mae Station” is 460 yen, and from Shin-Osaka Station it is 410 yen.
Note that the additional fare mentioned here is the money allocated to pay part of the construction debt when a new railroad is built, and is set at 60 yen. Therefore, the fare between Esaka and Minoh-Semba handai-mae would normally be 160 yen, but it will be 220 yen.
Adding the 240 yen fare from Umeda to Esaka on the Midosuji Line of Osaka Metro (Osaka City Rapid Transit Co., Ltd.) to this section, the fare from Umeda Station to Minoh-Semba handai-mae Station is 240 yen + 220 yen = 460 yen. The fare from Shin-Osaka Station to Minoh-Semba handai-mae Station is 190 yen + 220 yen = 410 yen.
In conjunction with the opening date of the Kita-Osaka Kyuko Line extension, an opening celebration event called “Kitakyu Extension Commemorative Minoh/New Station Opening Celebration” will be held in the vicinity of the two new stations. We cannot wait for the opening of the new stations.
From the station to the nanophoton about 5 minutes on foot.
Access to Nanophoton used to take about 13 minutes on foot from Senri-Chuo Station, but from now on it will only take 5 minutes on foot from Minoh-Semba handai-mae Station. From the underground station, go above ground, cross the pedestrian deck in front of you, and walk south, and you will soon see Nanophoton.
With better access, we hope you will feel free to visit Nanophoton’s Osaka showroom and touch and feel our actual products.
