Kita-Osaka Kyuko Line Extension
Finally, on March 23, the Kita-Osaka Kyuko Line was extended and a new station, Minoh-Semba handai-mae Station, opened in Semba, Minoh City, where Nanophoton is located ! As a result, visitors used to walk or take a bus from Senri-Chuo Station to Nanophoton, but now it only takes 5 minutes to walk from the new station. This time, I took the Kita-Osaka Kyuko Line, which has been extended to the new station, and I would like to report on the experience. (Newsletter editor: Ryo Harada)
New station “Minoh-Semba handai-mae Station”
Minoh-Semba handai-mae Station has three underground floors and two above-ground floors, and the huge atrium space leading from the basement to the ground is impressive. The large escalator with a height difference of 16 meters is an impressive sight. The basement is also equipped with mechanical bicycle parking. There were also conference rooms, offices, and galleries.
5 minutes walk from “Minoh-Semba handai-mae Station” to Nanophoton!
With the opening of Minoh-Semba handai-mae Station, access to Nanophoton has improved dramatically. It takes 22 minutes from Umeda Station and 15 minutes from Shin-Osaka Station to get to Minoh-Semba handai-mae Station.
Previously, it took about 15 minutes from Senri-Chuo Station by bus or on foot, but now it takes only about 5 minutes from the new station to Nanophoton on foot.
Nanophoton has excellent accessibility. We invite you to visit our Osaka showroom and touch Nanophoton’s cutting-edge microscopes.
In addition
“Minoh-kayano Station” has also opened as the next station after “Minoh-Semba handai-mae Station”.
New restaurants and other attractive stores are opening one after another in the vicinity of both stations, so please come to Minoh City for fun.
P.S.: At Minoh-kayano Station, I recommend “Minamen Cafe”, the next brand store of “Human beings everybody noodles”, and “Nigiritate”, a hoka hoka rice ball made on the spot at the first store in Kansai.
At Minoh-Semba handai-mae Station, it is “CaNCaRaCaN Cafe”, a stylish and healthy one-plate restaurant with plenty of vegetables, and “Taveruna Pecorino”, a Japanese-Italian restaurant with delicious fish.
